Friday Features- interNational Scrapbook Day Edition

This week for Friday Features, I wanted to focus on various things online where I grab inspiration for my scrapbooking.

1. Designs by Ashley Rock Sketch Book– Designs By Ashley Rock: 12×12 Scrapbook Sketches is a sketch book unlike any other! This book is very compact at 8″x5.5″ and light weight so you can easily take it to classes, crops, retreats or travel. Inside you’ll find over 45 original one and two page sketches with easy to follow measurements. Plus find real color page samples and helpful hints and tips along the way. {It’s also on sale this weekend for NSD!}

2. Page Maps– Page Maps is an online resource for sketches created by Becky Fleck. I have been using Becky’s sketches since 2006 and LOVE them! She puts out a free set of maps each month as well as has some great books that have been published for when you get into that creative rut! There are always full color examples from her talented design team as well.

3. Color Me Scrappy Challenges– Color Me Scrappy is a new blog that gives out a challenge each month. At the beginning of the month each of their design team members also take the color challenge and post their creations and then you have a given amount of time to complete the challenge. I have enjoyed being given a color scheme to start my layout with and then just work with it to find cohesiveness in my layouts. They offer a new prize with each challenge given to one of the submissions.

4. Got Sketch– Got Sketch was created by Valerie Salmon where she produces sketches each week. She provides great examples from her creative team as well as detailed pictures and inspiration to take the sketch into your scrapbooking.

5. Unscripted Sketches– Unscripted Sketches is a blog that posts a new sketch challenge on Saturdays an encourages you to create any type of project (card, layout, etc.) to go along with the sketch. They have a great creative team and occasionally offer prizes to go along with their sketch challenges.

What are your plans for iNSD? Where do you grab inspiration from around the internet?

Also, don’t forget that tonight is the VIP Launch Party for Everyday StoryTeller. I do hope that you will join us in the LIVE launch where there will be over $900 in prizes being given away!
