SFYTT June 2CuteInk Hedgie

This month I wanted to keep as close to possible as the sketch as I was able to for SFYTT.

The central focus of the sketch is a circular focal point. I printed off my digital Hedgie the Hedgehog by 2CuteInk image and die cut him with Nestabilities Small Circles. After coloring him in with C3, C5, C7, G05, and Y18, I inked up the edges with Pumice Stone Distress Ink after blocking off the edges with the die as well.

I then mounted him on the next size larger die cut from Jillibean Soup polka dots from an older collection that came in all colors of polka dots and grids. Totally wish I could get my hands on more of this in all the colors available!

Next, I cut the layers for the background of the card and the small thin strip from Authentique Loyal 6×6 paper pad and began to put things down. Once the strip was adhered across Hedgie’s circle, I tied it off with some Honeydew twine from The Twinery. Before adhering the buttons that are tied off with Black Rustic twine, I stamped the sentiment from CTMH Say It In Style stamp set.

This came together really quickly and I love how it turned out and it is now up in my Etsy shop for you to purchase! As a special, I have decided to have a 25% off sale for everything in my shop! Use the code SUMMER25 through Saturday, June 30th for 25% off all of it! I will not add anything new during this time so grab it fast before it’s gone!

Also, today, I have a new card up on the 2CuteInk Design Team blog using the new release, Alligator Swim. There is a bit of a sneak peek below to tease you a bit!
